The 10^th edition of the event that will crown the Rotax world champions has so far been a great success, with very exciting races and a schedule well structured, which has seen no twitches or hiccups.
In Senior class, Luke Varley from the UK has absolutely dominated the race, taking the flag first ahead of Mario Vendla from Estonia at 5” and New Zealander Matthew Hamilton at over 7”

In Junior, another Briton from the Euro Challenge, Matthew Parry took a very tight prefinal win over fellow countryman Ed Brand who finished 1 tenth behind, and Japan’s Ukyo Sasahara, over 1” behind.

In the two-speed class, DD2, South African Ralph Odendaal is living up to expectations and will start the final from pole position. Another Euro Challenge winner, Dennis Thum from Germany will start from row 1 having completed the prefinal in 2^nd place, over 3” down the South African. Third at the chequers, Cody Hodgson from the USA.

As a special price in celebration of Rotax Grand Finals 10th edition, the winner of the Senior category will be offered a test drive in Formula Renault 2.0 in 2010 courtesy of Van Amersfoort Racing.
