During winter, Energy did not rest on its (many) 2009 laurels, but carefully prepared this new season. Michele Panigada's team left nothing to chance and the first results did not take long to arrive, at the Winter Cup as well as at the first meeting of the WSK.

CRG was very satisfied with the excellent results achieved by its drivers on 7 March in Muro Leccese. With Max Verstappen's victory in KF3, Jonathan Thonon's second place in KZ1, Michelle Gatting's fourth place in KF2 and the level of performance shown by Arnaud Kozlinski in Super KF, CRG karts have proven their competitiveness in all categories. Once again, CRG and Maxter brands are ready to play a major role in the WSK.

In KZ1 Thonon wins the pre-final and gets a second place in the final. Great double success for Max Verstappen at his first WSK race in KF3. In Super KF Kozlinski got a start penalty; in KF2 good fourth place of the Danish driver Michelle Gatting.

Earlier than usual, the international racing season stops at the classic Lonato Winter Cup. The newborn BMB hits bull's eye immediately at its first international meeting thanks to a one-two in SKF by Birel duo, Libor Toman and Sauro Cesetti. We tested Birel brand new engines, BMB KF2  and Kart Grand Prix a couple of weeks before their winning debut.And for the second season, the South Garda event followed another major international race, the Rotax Winter Cup, attracting more and more drivers in preparation to the Rotax season.

The 15th edition of the Winter Cup was characterized by the bad weather. The awful atmospheric conditions influenced noticeably the result of our racing team.On the occasion of the Winter Cup it was not possible to evaluate completely the new Vortex RAD.Several concomitances such as rain, low temperatures and finals taking place late in the afternoon under the street lamps due to a delay in the time schedule, didn�t allow us to collect objective data.

The agonistic season of the Tony Kart Racing Team will start officially, as always, at the track in Lonato.   On Sunday, the 21st of February, the 15th edition of the Winter Cup will be for our team the first agonistic event of 2010 season.      It will be possible to evaluate the work carried out until now on the new Vortex RAD engines, homologated for the three-years period 2010/2013.
