Camponeschi dominates Race 1. The Italian driver from Rome – racing on Tonykart/Vortex – took the first final win at the World KF1 Championship in Suzuka (J). Camponeschi kept the lead at the start, building a good margin over Foré (Crg/Bmb) in the first instance, then Tiene (Crg/Bmb) and Basz (Birel/Bmb).
The first round of the World KF1 Championship - currently held at Suzuka in Japan – has already produced some verdicts. Although non-qualifying practices do not hold any real value as far as the racing weekend is concerned, they do tell part of the story of how the sessions that do matter might unfold.
